What you're getting
- The gills are the whole thing. Six feathery stalks, sewn separately and edged in pink, so they splay out instead of lying flat against the head.
- Correct face. Wide flat head, tiny dark eyes, the upturned mouth line. It reads as an axolotl and not as a generic lizard.
- Three colourways. White, black and yellow.
- Soft-fill body that flops when you pick it up, the way the real one does in water.

Questions people actually ask
Are the gills floppy or stiff?
Soft and floppy. They're separate stuffed stalks, so they move and can be arranged, but they won't hold a pose.
Can I mix colours?
Yes. Add each colour to the cart separately — everything in one order ships in one box.
Will the gills survive a washing machine?
Don't. Hand wash cold and let it air dry, or the stalks mat and never recover.
Is it kid-safe?
Sewn plush, no small parts. We don't certify to children's toy standards and don't recommend it under 3.
