A green-tailed giant silkmoth, in plush. Actias ningpoana — pale green wings, a white fur collar, red legs. Most people have never seen one. This one has cartoon eyes and no interest in your curtains.

Questions people actually ask
Does it have the long trailing tails?
No. The real moth has long streamers off the hindwings; this plush has short pointed wing tips instead. If you want the streamers, this isn't the one.
Is this a good gift for someone into insects?
It's one of the few plush moths that gets the species right instead of making a generic butterfly. Entomology people notice that.
Can I hang it?
There's no built-in loop. A small hook through the body seam works, but it's designed to sit, not hang.
Will the wings stay flat?
They're stiffened panels. Store it flat or upright and they hold. Squashed in a box for months, they'll need re-fluffing.
